Monograph & Glyph Specimen Book

2016 - 2017 Thesis Project || A two-part typographical design and research work including a monograph composed of the final research paper and a glyph specimen book designed to visually showcase the Meiryo font, with the addition of eight additional original glyphs. The specimen book features a selection of text from Akutagawa Ryunosuke's "Hell Screen" (1918). The glyph book was bound by saddle stitch, and the monograph with accordion folds.

One of two pieces featured at the 2017 UMBC Senior Exit Exhibition, won the 2017 Award for Outstanding Artwork in Senior Exhibition.
